Joseph "Steve" Carney

Joseph Steven “Steve” Carney, age 69 of Mt. Eden, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at his residence. He was born on April 20, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky to Joe Carney and Elizabeth (Milburn) Carney. He was a Pastor at Meadow Hill Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Yun Carney; children, Caleb Carney and Micah Carney; stepchildren, Jay Young, Diana Kendall, and Estelle Bell; grandchildren, Lauren Rader, Kimberly Porta, Kaylen Bradshaw, Autumn Neff, Abigail Carney, Eli Kendall, Davyn Faidiga, Kendra Apple, and Lucas Kern; mother, Elizabeth Carney; brother, Marc Carney and a host of extended family and friends. 

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3:00pm at Meadow Hill Baptist Church, 5513 Minor Lane Louisville, Kentucky with private entombment at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 12:00pm until 3:00pm at church.
