Joshua Andrew Bruce

Mr. Joshua Bruce, age 20, of Louisville, passed on Friday July 13, 2018. Mr. Bruce was born in Lorain Ohio on May 31, 1998 to Jennifer Latham and Tim Bruce. He was a graduate of Waggner High School, a Target team member and was planning on going to school to be a motorcycle mechanic. Joshua loved music and playing the guitar. Joshua was a talented video gamer and playing video games with his dad was one of his favorite things to do.  He also loved books, movies, comics, and basketball. Joshua was very tech savvy and was always taking things apart and putting them back together. He loved animals, especially his beloved cat Abby.  He was artistic and a very unique individual from his wild hair colors to his wide variety of interests.  Joshua loved working with special needs kids. He would light up a room when he walked in. Joshua loved his family and will be dearly missed.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jennifer Latham (Donnie); father, Timothy Bruce (Nikki and Landon); sisters, Leighanna Miller, Shelby Latham; brothers, Jordan Miller, Ethan Latham; grandparents, Carolyn and David Cambarare, Doris and Gary Evans, and David Bruce and Geletta; several aunts and cousins; roommate and good friend Marisa Ortega-Coulter; and a whole host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 20, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
