Judy Judy Judy...I had to open this today to see your face....tears are rolling....I miss you so bad !  What am i going to do without you. It's hard to get through a day without you. I feel so lonely. You were awesome. I don't have anyone I can talk to now. The best friend any body could have. You would tease me that I had a black cloud over me like the cartoon character in Lil' Abner !!! You would get after me when I would whine about something and tell me not to have pity party. You loved people so much...I was jealous of the relationship you had with Shannon because i wanted that for me and my daughter. I know you are loving it in Heaven.You left a legacy here Judy. No one...and I mean no one could ever fill your shoes. Have a awesome day in Heaven......love you bunches !!!!

Ms. Judy,  I'm preparing a group of teenagers to perform "Sleeping Beauty" this weekend, and I have thought about you often. I remember how Brandy and I would watch that movie over and over and over in your basement until you finally got sick of it and threw us outside with instructions to "not be runnin' in and out...in fact, don't come in til lunch!."  Thank you for introducing me to the Price is Right, for letting me play in your living room (even when no one else was allowed), for making me eat all my lunch (even when I thought it was gross), for teaching me to have an imagination and for opening your house to me, and later to my son, so that my mom could work and not have to worry about us.  You became the standard by which I judged all my own children's babysitters as an adult.  Bless you for being everything you could to all us of.  Will be thinking of you this weekend, and I'll see you again...once upon a dream. :)  Julie (Wise) McKay

If you never had the privilege of knowing this woman, all you have to do is read the many testimonials from friends and family to know what a wonderful person she was.

Judy was a huge blessing in my life.  Instead of using a daycare,  Judy watched both of my boys.  Kris was almost 2 when she started watching him.  Ryan first met her when he was a week old.  Judy would sit and hold him. He never fussed. He was instantly comfortable in her arms.  She wasn't just a babysitter, she became the boys other Memaw.   When Kris was younger, he took some toy tools over to play with during the day.  When I got home, she said, "He is never to bring them over again.  He dug a hole in my window."  When I asked Kris why he said, "I want to help fix her window, like my Papa would do."  So many memories...so many laughes.  She was a beautiful person inside and out.  One of the most loving and giving people I have ever known.  She will be greatly missed.

I have known Judy my whole life, and words can not begin to describe the emptiness I  feel without her. Over the years starting with her being, the lady next door, to my mom's  friend that watched me, my mom's friends who watched over me when I came home from my first date,  to make sure I was safe, to MY FRIEND.  You have  been there for me through every stage of my life. I  want to thank you for ALWAYS  being honest with me, even if I really didn't want you too.  Always  loving  me just like I  was your child, even when you would get mad at me for doing something  stupid. I  want to thank you for helping raise my girls, they love you as if you were their grandmother.  You have had such apositive influence on me and my girls. We love you,  more than words describe, and you are deeply missed and loved more than you probably ever knew, and don't worry Kenna  and  your Evie  will be ok.  I  love you " mom" .

After a span of over 30 years it is impossible to pick a favorite memory. there are so many. One thing I looked forward to would have to be the birthday card Judy would send me each year. With me being older she would send me a card that would get a dig in about my age. I told her to respect her elders but she would just laugh. We talked on the phone everyday sometimes several times. I will miss those phone calls so much.we never had an argument in all those years,but had many laughs and some tears.we always agreed God was in control and we had our hope and trust in Him. So looking back I would have to say my favorite memory would have to be 34+years wrapped into one wonderful friendship. Until we meet again in heaven, I will hold on to all the wonderful memories of my dearest friend.                        Barbara Wampler

There are so many memories that are flooding my mind. I really wouldn't know where to start. I'm thankful for the influence you had in my life. It meant more to me to see how welcoming you were of Hannah and how excited you always were to see Dorothy. I loved watching you take care of them and love them like they were your own. I'll never forget the times I had watching John Wayne movies with you or running around your backyard as a child. I'm thankful I got to spend the past few Saturdays with you. There is so much I could write. I love you so much and will forever remember all the times we had together. Thank you for being apart on my life.

Judy was my special friend. Every Christmas she made candy for my family.There was many days that she stood in the gap for me when i was weak and couldn't. I know she is walking streets of gold and dancing with angels. I will miss hearing your voice. When ever Paul and I would leave the house and come back... I'd say did Judy call...he'd check the phone  and say yes hon you know she did.... oh how I miss seeing your number on caller ID.You loved my kids, knew them all by name...and knew all my grand babies names. I love you Judy!

Gene, Shannon, Family  I can't put into works all the memories I have of Judy in the last 30or more years.  She was the only person that Danny would talk to on the phone home.  When she was looking for someone to cut her hair I recommended the girl that cuts mine.  She has been going there ever since.  The talks about the bible, kids, and the things going on in the world.  Justine she was so happy to become a great grandma.  When she would mess her phone up and she would have to one of the kids fix it for her.  One time in the last couple of weeks something happened to it and I offered to come over and look at it., she said no she would just have one of the kids look at it.  Apparently Mckenna had turned it off at the ringer off and forgot to turn it back on.  The young women will dance for joy, and the men-old and young- will join in the celebration, I will turn their mourning into joy.  I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing. Jeremiah 31:13  We may not know while we are on the earth why God decided to take Judy home at this time.  But we can be assured that she is not in pain.and she will be waiting for us when we enter heaven.  Judy you will be missed by all

Look at all the lives and generations she touched and blessed.  She treated me like a son and opened her home and heart to me.  She loved family and looked forward to seeing anyone that would stop by.  Walking down the hallway to the back bedroom will certainly be a different experience knowing that chair will be empty.  Thank you Judy foe being a parent, mother, grandmother and friend.  You are in a better place.

I am still in shock.  I can still remember so clearly Judy in high school, and it only seems like yesterday.  I will also always remember visiting my parents when Dad was still alive, and there were always baked goods in the apartment.  Dad would offer me some and say happily, "They're from Judy."  I shall truly miss her.  God bless you, Gene, Sheri and Shannon and all Judy's friends and extended families.  May He comfort you through these sorrowful times until we see her again.

To the woman who loved me unconditionally & was ALWAYS there for me. Who always cared for everyone and expected nothing in return. The woman who loved sending all of her friends humorous birthday cards. Preparing them  months ahead of time.  I am comforted now by all of her friends telling me how much she meant to them. How she was always there for them and will be deeply missed. She touched so many people and they loved her as much as I do. She passed peacefully with Dad & I by her side and I am confident she heard the voices of everyone who came to see her. To the Best Mother I was blessed by GOD to have, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!  JOB WELL DONE!

It wasn't long after marrying her grandson that I felt I was a part of the family.  Memaw began calling me on a weekly sometimes daily basis just to check in and see how I was. But my favorite memories with her were after giving birth to her first great grandchild. She loved and spoiled her so much. Watching her hold Dorothy with the biggest smile on her face  laughing and making jokes about giving her Dr. Pepper. Memaw very quickly became so special to me. I will be sure never forget to remind Dorothy how much her Memaw loved her.

To: Mema  From: Your favorite grandchild, Jared  You were the best grandmother anyone could ask for. You were so thoughtful of others and touched the lives of many. I will miss you so much but I will cherish all the memories we had together. I will always remember throwing baseball with you on the porch, you and nana watching my little league games together and you keeping the fridge stocked with chocolate milk even when you weren't sure if I was coming over. You were my biggest fan and I could do no wrong in your eyes (which I will also miss). It saddens me that you won't get to watch me grow up, get married and start a family and treat my kids how you treated me, but the memories we had will be with me forever. I knew Judy through my sister, Kathy Samuels.  My fondest memory of Judy was at the funeral home when Kathy's father-in-law, Paul passed away.  Kathy mentioned to Judy about how thankful she was for her coming and she knew how hard it was on her and Judy's comment back to Kathy was you've always been there for me.  My thoughts are with the family but especially my prayers.

I was fortunate to have Judy for a friend and neighbor for over 40 years.  Not only that, but she helped raise my daughter.  Judy baby sat Brandy from the time she was 6 weeks old until she was so old she no longer needed a sitter, but even then, she kept an eye out for her..making sure she got off the bus and when Brandy would forget her key, she had standing instructions to go to Judy's.   Every time Brandy would achieve something, Judy would say " I raised smart girls". or " she got that from me" I will be forever grateful for knowing that Brandy  was in a loving home when I was at work.  She will be greatly missed but her legacy lives on in all the children she helped raise through the years.

Judy was my sister and friend for 52 years.  I'll never forget how she taught my twin sister and me how to dance the "Big B."  She was wonderful, and we were hopeless!  Her passing is such a shock, because she was always so much alive.  I still have text messages from her on my phone.  My heart goes out to Gene and the whole family.  I love you guys.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

I feel very blessed to have had Judy Taylor as a part of my childhood. Her home was like my second home. At no more than 5 or 6, I ran away from home... 5 doors down to Judy's.  I called her mother Grandma, and the other kids she sat felt like my brothers and sisters... or as close as I could get, being an only child. She taught me patience and tolerance, and smarts of course. She always took credit for my good grades,  saying she raised smart girls. I can only remember her getting mad at me once, I'm sure my smart mouth had something to do with it, and I remember feeling like dirt sitting there thinking about her being upset with me. I know I speak for all her 'kids' when I say she helped me to be who I am today, and I will miss her terribly. My heart goes out to the family, and thank you to Shannon and Gene for letting me feel like family the past few days...
