Mrs. Karen Denise Perkins, age 56, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Karen was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on August 9, 1969, to the late Benjamin Stillwell, and Kathleen (Brown) Stillwell. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, Mamaw, daughter, sister and aunt /KK. Karen will always be remembered as bubbly and outgoing; she liked to spend time with her family and friends. Taking trips to Gatlinburg, the Beach and enjoying time spent with her grandchildren. Karen will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father Benjamin Stillwell.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 37 years Randy Perkins, daughter Kristen Marie Perkins (Michael), two grandchildren Adam and Evan Moore, her mother Kathleen Stillwell, sisters Laura Kay Branham (Gary), Terri Lynn Stillwell (Terry), along with a host of nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church (224 Abbott Street, Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165). Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. We will meet at the church on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow going to Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40205).
