Katherine W. Bell, age 90, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born in Adair County, KY on May 27, 1931 to the late Venus Williams and Nellie Glee Smith Williams. She was a retired waitress.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Michael Bell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Jim Bell (Karen Jones); six grandchildren, Michael Jones, Christina Bell, Katherine Gregory (Paul), Justin Jones (Lorie), Charlie Jones and James Bell, Jr.; thirteen great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 23, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. Shepherdsville, KY 40165) with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Munincipal Cemetery in Horse Cave, Kentucky. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturdady from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
