Kathleen Marie Richardson

Mrs. Kathleen Marie Richardson, age, 70 of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on December 3, 2024, with her family by her side. Kathleen was born on June 1, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio., to the late Charles Bouey and Lois (Schmidt) Bouey. She was a machine operator for many years at Kentucky Association of Electric Cooperatives and attended Southeast Christian Church. Kathleen was very strong in her faith; the same faith she used to fight her courageous battle against cancer, where she ultimately won…she is now with her Lord in Heaven. She loved to dance, take long motorcycle rides, she was humble and caring and saw the good in everyone she met, but most of all she was a devoted mother and granny and a strong supporter of mental health. Kathleen will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Ralph Edward Richardson, brothers William and Jim Bouey.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Karen Alcorn (Mark), Frances Richardson (William Murphy), four grandchildren Kristen Miller (Willie), Mark Alcorn, Brandon Stangel, Joshua Stangel, eight great-grandchildren Camden Miller, Hood Miller, Waylon Miller, Kynleigh Sams, Keaton Davidson, Gavin Davidson, Adalyn Alcorn, Mylah Alcorn, brother Mike Bouey, sister Terri Lycans (Jerry), and Kathleens significant other Jerry Adkins, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with interment in Highland Memory Gardens.   Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
