Mr. Kenneth David Floyd, age 91, of Glendale returned to his Heavenly Father on July 16, 2017. Mr. Floyd was a farmer and a U.S. Army World War II veteran. Mr. Floyd was a member of Gilead Baptist Church in Glendale and the Glendale Lions Club. Among those that preceded him in death include parents, Stanley and Rita Lane Floyd; first wife, Daisy Corbin Floyd; second wife, Virginia Meyers Floyd; and three sisters, Beulah Haggard, Pearl Kerr and Anna Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Edna Vincent, Thomas Floyd, and Stanley Branch Floyd (Mary); grandchildren, Thonnya Sutherland and James Jay Sutherland (Nadine); and great-grandchildren, Cody, Tessa, Walker and Kai.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Gilead Baptist Church (2691 Gilead Church Road, Glendale, KY 42740) with interment in Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.
