Mrs. Leona Ann Burch Andrews Owens, age 74, of Hillview returned to her Heavenly Father on August 3, 2017. Mrs. Owens was a bus driver for 18 years for the Richmond County Board of Education in Augusta, GA; and retired to be a homemaker. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Augusta, GA. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Lindsey Lee and Ruby Pearl Porter Burch; and brothers, Bennie and Gordon Burch. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 10 years, Alvin Owens; children, Debbie Cato (Mike), Wanda Lass and Wiley T. Andrews, Jr.; stepchildren, Carl Owens, Gayla Tincher (Brad), Jerrol Owens (Myra) and Daryl Owens (Christy); 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 7, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial in Lovell Cemetery in Mt.
