Linda Faye Bailey

Linda Faye Bailey, age 76, of Hillview returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 15, 2024. She was born on November 17, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William Raymond and Nora Jean (Laird) Coomer. She was co-owner of “Don’t Forget Me” and a Sunday school teacher at Wellman Wesleyan Church. She and her husband were members of Rolling Memories Car Club and enjoyed attending different car clubs and shows. She was known for her favorite saying “I am EXACTLY”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Bailey Jr.; grandchildren, Stephen Barr II and Destinee Barr and her sisters, Ellie Mae, Jean, Frances, Betty and Doris.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Doug Barr, Michael Bailey, Tracye Estes and Marshall Barr (Jaime); grandchildren, Ashley, Stephen, Kristen, Michael, Mark, Marlena, Brandon, Rachel and Weslie; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Tripp, Randi Lynn and Emma Grace; brother, James Coomer and a host of family and friends.

Memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Wellman Wesleyan Church (3220 Bohannon Avenue, Louisville, KY 40215) at 5 pm. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 2 until the time of the service at Wellman Wesleyan Church.
