Mrs. Mary R. "Goldie" McNabb, age 82, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 14, 2014. Mrs. McNabb was born June 20, 1932 in Bardstown, KY to the late William J. and Mary Margaret Marshall. She was a former member of St. John's Catholic Church and a member of the Eastern Star.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, William G. McNabb; children, Richard J. and David W. McNabb and grandson, Ricky W. McNabb.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Billy McNabb (Pat), Mary R. Rowland (Joe), Susie Harris (Teddy), Robert McNabb (Roxane), Daisy McDonald, John McNabb (Sherry) and Louise "Lou Lou" Baumgardner (Kenny); 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
