Mary A. Penner age 87 of Okolona returned to her Heavenly Father on September 1, 2015. Among those who preceded her in death are her parents, Herald and Nora Carroll; husband, Joseph Penner; sisters, Irene Kidwell, Doris Wheatley; brothers, Edgar, Albert (Chan) and Layman Carroll. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Alma Surber (Bernie), Carolyn Nalley (David); sister, Shirley James (Roger); brothers, Billy Carroll (Marieta) and Jimmy Carroll; grandchildren, Pam Gaddie (Mike), Mark Davis (Paige), Tricia Blair (Jason) and Chad Davis (April); great grandchildren, Cameron Davis, Ryan Gaddie, Jill Davis, Jacob and Jalynn Blair, Mason and Madi Davis and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Friday at Resthaven Memorial Park with entombment to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home Preston Highway.
