Mr. Michael Calhoun, age 64, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on March 9, 2013. Mr. Calhoun retired from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet where he worked as a superintendent. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Joseph, Sr. and Rita Calhoun; and sister, Beverly Whalen. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Paula Satterly Calhoun; daughter, Gina Young (Steve); son, Terry Greenwell; granddaughter, Danielle Clagett; brothers, Pat (Donna), Ted (Linda) and Tony (Venus) Calhoun; and father-in-law, Herb Satterly (Carol).
Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Hebron Cemetery on Wednesday at 2 pm.
