Michael W Manning

Mr. Michael W. Manning, age 58, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on January 12, 2020. Mr. Manning was born on November 8, 1961 in Louisville to Bonnie (Hardesty) Manning. Mr. Manning was a chef for Stumblers Catering. Among those that preceded him in death are his grandparents, Fred and Ruth Hardesty; and nephew, James “Jimmy” Blanton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Christy Manning;

children, Teasha Delacruz (Aldo), Nikki Underhill, Johnny, Brian (Stephanie) and Alex Manning and Adam and Brad Benningfield; 8 grandchildren, 2 of whom live with them and they raise; mother, Bonnie (Hardesty) Manning; dad, John “Big John” Hancock; brother, Phillip Manning (Patricia); sister, Lisa Cook; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow.  Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may be made to Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home.  www.subfuneralhome.com
