Michael Ray Murray

     Mr. Michael Ray Murray age 75, of Louisville, KY returned to his heavenly father on Friday, December 9, 2022. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday, January 30, 1947, to the late Ray and Jane Murray. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jane Bleuel Murray, along with a brother, Jim Murray.

     Mike was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, a graduate of Seneca High School and had attended the University of Louisville. He served in the US Army reserves, a member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid dog lover. Mike was an all-around good man and was always willing to help others, he will truly be missed by all who knew him.

    He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Michael P. Murray (Kelly) and Laura Jane Murray (Kyle Eli); his sister, Marilyn Hennies; along with a host of other family and friends.

    Funeral service will be conducted at 10am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at St. Edwards Catholic Church 9608 Sue Helen Drive Louisville, with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 2pm until 8pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
