Paul Edward Shadowens age 64 of Upton, KY was born June 15, 1949 to the late Othel H. and Theresa Boccaslie Shadowens and returned to his Heavenly Father March 31, 2014. Mr. Shadowens was a retired owner and operator of Shadowens Moving and Storage and Shadowens Excavating Company and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Among those who preceded him in death include a sister, Patsy Shadowens and his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Diane Burress Shadowens; son Jeremy Nichols (Danielle Lush); sisters, Janette Riggle (Rodney Rowe), Donna Bertram (Larry) and Linda Bentley; brother, Tom Shadowens (Alice); grandchild, Paisley Nichols; a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. Friday at Schoppenhorst.
