Mrs. Rena Helen Harris, age 90, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 23, 2024. She was born on March 26, 1934 in Russell County, Kentucky to the late Francis and Bessie (Coffee) Andrew. Mrs. Harris is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Harris; sisters, Rella Center, Reba Davis Rejinia Reeder; and brother, Ravin Andrew.
She is leaves to cherish her memory her children, Miranda Keith, Lavonne Keith (Mike), Teresa Waldron (Kevin), and Mitch Reeder; stepson, Billy Harris (Bonnie); 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Rosetta Shepherd; brothers, Rastie Andrew and Richie Andrew; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus of Louisville in memory of Mrs. Harris.
