In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rita Young; son, Rudy Young; grandson, Tyler Blois; brothers, Curtis Young and Albert Young and sister, Ruth Breeden.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Kristi Blois (Brad) and Kathy Samson (Paul); grandchildren, Alexis and Abbi Samson and Ryan and Rachel Blois; niece, Nerissa Draeger (Eric) and many special friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12pm on Friday, July 2, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 East at 123 Winning Colors Drive) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
