Robert M. Spellman

Robert M. Spellman age 86 was born April 21, 1926 to the late Frank and Beatrice Wright Spellman and returned to his Heavenly Father March 23, 2013. Mr. Spellman was a member of Highview Church of God of Prophecy, a postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents; sister, Dorothy Spellman; brother, James Spellman; grandchild, Natalie Spellman; great grandchild, Hunter Combs.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 66 years, Doris Davis Spellman; children, Kim Burt, Morris, Randy, Davy and Jerry Spellman; 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 12 P.M. Thursday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. Wednesday at Schoppenhorst.
