Mrs. Ruth Collins Basham, age 66, of Fern Creek, returned to her Heavenly Father Monday September 28, 2015. Ruth was a homemaker. Among those who preceded her in death include her parents, Harvey and Nellie Duff Collins and her husband of 50 years Willie Basham.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Bruce Basham(Vickie), Michael Basham, Tina Basham; grandchildren, Skylar, Seth, Hayden, Ashlee, Corie, Cody, Austin, Chastity, Destiny; great grandchildren, Barry, BaiDeon, Aiden; brothers, Dewey Collins(Frances), Jack Collins(Sheila), John Collins(Lisa), Mike Collins, Alvin Collins(Sharon), Ray Collins(Shannon); sister, Wilma Collins(Susan).
Funeral Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst,Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy and Brooks Rd.) with visitation Thursday 5 p.m. until the time of service.
Burial 11 a.m. Friday in Providence Cemetery, Austin In.
