Samuel Lee Martin

Mr. Samuel Lee Martin, age 87, of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.   Mr. Martin was born in Corbin, KY on October 13, 1935, to the late Arthur Martin and Lula Barton Martin.

    Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by three siblings, Ruby, Kenneth and Lois.

    He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sharon Lynn Drew Martin; seven children, Richard Lee Martin (Ginger), Teri Lynn Parker (Anthony), Karen Denise Druin, Kevin Dwayne Martin (Ramona), Melissa Lee Wright (Myron), Kenneth Laine Martin and Nile Wade Martin; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

    A celebration of life service will be conducted at 6 pm on Sunday, February 19, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road).  Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 4 pm until time of the service at the funeral home.
