Sarah Catherine Garrett

Sarah Catherine Garrett,79, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on July 4, 2019. Mrs. Garrett was born on April 14, 1940 to the late Herbert and Millie (Tyler) Holderman. Sarah worked for American Printing House for the Blind as a production worker and was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church.  

Sarah was proceeded in death by her husband, Danny Garrett; parents; sons, Ricky and Tony Garrett and Granddaughter, Hannah Compton.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Cathy Compton (Richard) and Peggy Garrett; one son, Tim Garrett (Frances); ten grandchildren, Billy, Lisa, Steve, Alicia, Adric, Chase, Alex, Josie, Miranda and Stephen; eleven great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Temple.  

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, July 8, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, July 7, 2019  from 12 pm until 8 pm and Monday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Louisville Zoo.
