Shirley Jean Bailey

Shirley Jean Bailey, age 71, of Hillview, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, May 23, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1953, in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the late James and Pearl (Scott) Bailey. Shirley retired from General Electric after over 10 years of faithful service. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church and was a very skilled seamstress and loved sewing as well as quilting. She also loved animals, especially cats and dogs. Shirley will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Scott Hinton and several beloved family members and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Taylor’s Chapel Cemetery in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 5:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
