Tammy Rosemary Stevens

Mrs. Tammy R. Stevens, age 56, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on August 26, 2024, with her family by her side. Tammy was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 25, 1967, to Thomas Gootee, and the late Gloria (Perry) Fritz. She retired after over 28 years with Ford Motor Company (KTP), she enjoyed relaxing laying in the sun, taking a motorcycle ride on their Harley, she enjoyed cooking, going to Nolin Lake, the beach, spending quality time with her girlfriends. She was like a second mom to the children in the neighborhood, always welcoming them with open arms and had a meal ready for them. Tammy loved her 3 fur babies they often slept with her. However, most of all she enjoyed being a loving wife, mom, and grammy, it gave her great joy. Tammy will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gloria Fritz, stepfather Michael Fritz Sr., and sister Theresa McKinley.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 35 years Terry Stevens, daughter Courtney Sharp (Christopher), daughter Miranda Stevens, five grandchildren Jackson, Logan, and Liam Sharp, Harper and Benjamin Hawkins, Father Thomas Gootee, sisters Kim Bagby (Steve), Amanda Gootee, stepbrother Michael Fritz Jr., Joe Fritz, and stepsister Stephanie Fritz, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family and friends. 

 Family and Friends may pay their respects on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway). Cremation to follow.
