Teresa Carol Mudd

Ms. Teresa Carol Mudd, 72, of Louisville passed away peacefully on the morning of April 28, 2025. She worked as a hairdresser in her early life, then later as a realtor. Her most important role was “Mom”. Teresa was a devout Christian, who never lost her faith in Jesus, not even in her darkest hour. She was a beautiful person who loved her family and spending time with them. Her compassion, kindness and positive outlook will be remembered by those that knew her. Teresa loved music, dancing and helping those in need, however she could. Teresa was preceded in death by her loving parents, Neal and Lois Minrath; her sister-in-law Terri Minrath; niece Katie Maddix and nephew Corey Minrath. She is survived by her Fiancé Joe Burress; sister Cip (Ron) Maddix; brothers Gary (Sheila) Minrath, Mark Minrath and Matt (Carl) Minrath; her children, Jon (Amy) Hughes, Jessica Brooks, Michael (Marleth) Mudd, Sean (Kay) Mudd, Elizabeth Mudd, LeAnna (Alex) Wegner, Chris (Brittany) Mudd; 20 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews. Her absence on this earth will be undeniable, but we have peace in knowing she is no longer suffering. Jesus said unto him, ‘’I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me’’, John 14:6. Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 east at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) Friends may pay their respects on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
