

Thomas “Tommy” Marshall Radcliffe, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born January 8, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky. Tommy was the son of the late Kent Nelson Radcliffe and Hazel Radcliffe. Tommy worked in the pipefitters Local 522, he started in 1966 and retired in 2001 and also an Army veteran in the early 60’s. Tommy was always family first. He enjoyed playing music back in the 70’s and 80’s, he played the drums with a band Sundown and played with various bands and jamborees. He decided to play Harmonica in the later years of his life. His wife was also known for their unique dancing in the Louisville Bop Club and they shared their fancy foot work with The Temptation Audiences. Tommy was preceded in death by Kent Nelson Radcliffe, Jr (Jean Ann), James Donald Radcliffe and Doris Fern Morris (Gene), grandsons, Zachary Hester and Josh Hester. Tommy is survived and missed by his loving wife, Betty Ann Radcliffe, they would have celebrated 66 year anniversary on February 13, 2026; daughter, Kimberly Ann Hester (Donny); son, Troy Marshall Radcliffe (Tammi); two grandchildren, Chloe Hester (Brandon) and Trey Radcliffe (Shelby); two great grandchildren, Alison and Athena; sister, Janet Elaine Radcliffe; and a host of family and friend. Funeral service will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway), with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 1 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service
