Thomas “Tom” Underwood, age 87, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, November 17, 2025. He was born on June 14, 1938, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Archibald and Pauline Underwood. Tom was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He loved music and was a self-taught musician. He could play any instrument after only a few minutes of practice, his favorite being the guitar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Mikesell) Underwood and siblings, Carol, James, Terry and Donna.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Karen Price and a host of friends. Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 2:00 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 12:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.
