Tony Elwyn Miller

Mr. Tony Elwyn Miller, age 76, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 23, 2014. Mr. Miller was a member of North Bullitt Christian Church, he served the United States in the Army, he retired from Holland Motor Express after 33 years, he served on the Shepherdsville City Council for 14 years and was a former president of Fellowship of Concern.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Arthur J. and Eula Marion Miller and his sister, Janet Cummings.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 53 years, Jana Wilson Miller; his daughters, Betty Jean Shofner (David) and Marjie Miller; grandchildren, Kelli Smith Hurley (Jerry), Cody Smith, Noah Edwards and Noelle Edwards; great grandchildren, Gracee Hurley and Grant Hurley and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may be made in lieu of flowers to Hosparus, Fellowship of Concern or the North Bullitt Christian Church Mission Fund.
