Troy Lee Nichols, Sr.

Mr. Troy Lee Nichols Sr., age 55, of Brooks returned to his Heavenly Father on February 13, 2020. Mr. Nichols was born on August 28, 1964 in Louisville, KY to the late Roy Lee, Sr. and Edna Mae (Parsley) Nichols. Mr. Nichols worked as an auto mechanic. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents; brother, Roy Nichols Jr.; and son, Troy Lee Nichols Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Tabitha Durbin (James), Hallie Jones (Micheal) and Roy Nichols; grandchildren, Jordan, Misti, Lilymay, James Jr., Micheal Jr. and Ace; siblings, Hallie Cox and John Nichols Sr. (Tracey); fiancée, Robin Wilson; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, February 17, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1-8 pm and Monday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home.
