Vicki Lynn Hill

Mrs. Vicki Hill, age 64, of Valley Station returned to her Heavenly Father on April 14, 2019. She was born to the late Joe and Ocelene Bolt on June 26, 1954 in Ashland, Kentucky. Vicki graduated from DuPont Manual High School in 1972. Larry and Vicki were married for 28 years. She loved her family more than life itself, sacrificing and giving her very best every day to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Vicki had a lifelong career in Medical Transcription before retiring and was the owner/operator of Vicki Hill Transcription. She was well known for her dedication to excellence within this community. Vicki enjoyed gardening and her flowers brought everyone she encountered much joy. She asks that you consider planting a seed, flower, bush, or tree and remember that she is with us always until we meet again.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Larry Hill; children, S. Nicole Downey (Mark II), Candice Jaye Bartlett (Eric), Tyler C. Hill (Tracy) and Mimmie C. Yost (John); grandchildren, Justin P. Downey, Jared C. Downey, Ryan Jacob “Jake” Downey, Eric Jaye David Rhodes-Bartlett “E.J”, Charlotte Rose Hill and Mia Shay Yost; siblings, Bill Bolt (Jenny), Doris Hancock (Randall) and Ramona McLaughlin (Ivan); numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 5:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.)  with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery at 10:00 am the following day, Thursday April 18, 2019.   Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
