Mr. Vincent “87” Arnold, age 64, of Brooks, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Vincent was a concrete finisher and graduated from the Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, Kentucky. He enjoyed going to the lake, watching University of Louisville sports. You could often find him tinkering around taking things apart and working on them. However, most of all he was a diehard Stock Car Racing enthusiast. He loved being apart of the racing team, he was known for his #88 and a nickname of slim during his life. It gave him great joy to be part of the race team here in Kentucky and Salem Indiana. But one thing was certain and two things for sure he was a “true momma’s boy” his mother Linda loved him from the moon and back. Vincent was a loving son, dad, and grandpa, he will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his Father Albert John Arnold, grandparents Harlan and Helen Burn, and Emmett and Minnie Ferguson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Linda (Ferguson) Arnold, sons Jeremy Arnold, Adam Arnold, grandson Asher Arnold, along with a host of cousins, and other family and friends, and we cannot forget his fur babies.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 12:00 noon in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway). A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon. Burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery.
