Mrs. Wanda Belle Billings, age 68 of Elkhorn, Ky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 22, 1956, to the late James Compton and Delores (Combs) Compton. Wanda was a devoted and loving wife, mom, and Nana, she spent her life caring for her family and keeping her home running smoothly, she was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church, she was a diehard sports fan, enjoyed watching University of Louisville play, but most of all she was a dedicated Nana to her 6 grandchildren. Wanda will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Joseph Arnett, two brothers Ricky Combs and Thomas Back.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Alan Billings, daughter Christy Cloud (Ben), son Joshua Tuttle (Jessie) six grandchildren Dalton Cloud, Landon Cloud, Joshua Tuttle, Jr., Jasper Tuttle, Jared Tuttle, Jacob Tuttle, brother Gerald Whitley, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Cremation was chosen.
