Wayne "Tommy" Bishop

Mr. Wayne “Tommy” Bishop, age 70, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Mr. Bishop was born in Louisville, KY on January 14, 1951 to the late Roy Ray Bishop and Maudie Lee Kyle Bishop, he retired from UPS.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his wife,Debra Joann Bishop, his granddaughter, Cheyenne Armbrister; his brother, Roy Lee Bishop and his sisters, Martha Dillander, Opal C. Noe and Shirley A. Grassi.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Wayne Thomas Bishop Jr., David Armbrister, John Armbrister and Regina Freeman; grandchildren, Daisy Bishop, Adam, Justin and Audra; sister, Elaine Durr (Don) and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Mt. Eden Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
