Mr. Willie Clifford Minton, age 88, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 5, 2022. He was born on May 3, 1933, in Edmondson County, Kentucky. He was a member of Independent Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Minton and his siblings, James V. Minton and David L. Minton.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 72 years, Frances Minton; his daughter, Linda McDonald (Bruce); his grandchildren, Wendi Clark (Brian) and Crystal Raney (Ben), his great grandchildren, Jarrett Clark (Taylor), Brookelyn Clark, Madison Raney (Micah) and Mason Raney (Taytum); his great-great grandchildren, Waylon, Willow and Easton; his brother, Wayne Minton and his sister-in-law, Corean Minton; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 10, 2022, in the chapel of Independent Baptist Church 915 Raymond Road Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitations will be at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville, Wednesday 2pm until 8pm and at Independent Baptist Church Thursday 9:30am until time of service.
