

Zachary “Zach” Thomas Hutchins, age 22, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his home, with his family by his side. Zach fought courageously in a four-year battle with cancer. His family would like to express their gratitude to the Angels who cared for him at Kosair Children’s Hospital and to their loving community in Northern Bullitt County. The outpouring of care during this unimaginable time will not be forgotten.
Zach was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, graduate of North Bullitt High School and a sophomore at University of Louisville, where he was a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity.
His grandfather, Charles Hutchins preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Jim and Sandy Hutchins; brother, Sam Hutchins; his maternal grandparents, Mary and Tom Exton; his paternal grandparents, Barbara and Charlie Hutchens; maternal aunts and uncles, Mike and Sherry Exton, Karen and Bryon Thompson and Terri and Jimmy Murdock; paternal aunts and uncles, Joe and Linda Hutchins, John and Angie Hutchins and Tim and Linda Sea; cousins, Chelsea, Cody, Alex, Luke, Nick, Kaylee, Andrea, Eric, Jake and Josh; his special aunt, Becky Hagan and a host of dear friends, family and beloved extended family.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Charities.
In compliance with Governor Beshear’s latest Covid-19 restrictions, all services are limited to immediate family & invited guests only. The limit is 25 individuals total (cannot be rotated). Service times must be kept private as well.
