Born July 12, 1943 in Top Hill, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, WI She lived in Kingston, Jamaica, Detroit, Michigan, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before settling in Snellville, GA. She worked at Abington Memorial Hospital until retiring in 2001. Aneita was baptized a member of the First Baptist Church of Snellville.
Aneita Ames is survived by four sons, Alton Chin-Shue, Paul Harris, Randall Farward, Tim Farward, three daughters Susie Porter, Donneita Harris, Dalou Harris, 15 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5:00pm – 9:00pm, Friday, November 8, 2013 at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, Georgia 30039
Services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Snellville, in Snellville, Georgia. Her final resting place will be in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Relatives and friends are welcome to the service and the reception at 2477 Millers Pond Lane, Snellville, Georgia immediately following.
