Anthony L. “Tony” Roberts, 75, of Loganville, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015, in Social Circle. Tony was born on July 17, 1939 in Atlanta to F.N. and Helen Roberts. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1957-1960. After his Honorable Discharge, Tony became a firefighter in Dekalb County, where he retired after a 31 year career. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, jeeping, camping, fishing, hunting and drinking coffee with his friends. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his daughter Alicia Barber. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Roberts of Loganville, son Todd Roberts and wife Edie of Lawrenceville, son-in-law Gary Barber of Stone Mountain, sisters Brenda Brown and husband Danny of Covington and Sandra Greene and husband Chipper of Stockbridge and grandchildren Kaitlin Barber, Joshua Roberts and Nicholas Roberts.
