Carlton was one of the kindest, most gentle men I have ever met.  It was a joy working with him…he was loved by all he met and especially his residents.  My heartfelt condolences to his family.



I will miss Carlton greatly.  He was always such a ray of sunshine when I would see him at work.  Always with a smile on his face, willing to help anyone anywhere.  And he always had pictures to share and stories to tell about his children and his gand children!  


Mr. Brown, thank you for sharing your talents, wisdom, and kind heart with us. We were blessed to have such a brave and powerful person on our team. 

It was pure joy to see you walk in the room... as you always brought  the feeling of the Jamaican sun with you. I can still hear you say, "All things work out, no matter what they look like." 

I will never forget the development opportunities that we shared and how you would talk about your beautiful family.

My condolences to the Brown family.  Carlton will be missed.  He had such a great and infectious smile.  Thank you for sharing him with us.

Carlton had a way about him that could calm the entire room from a frenzy to murmur. The first time I ever met him, I was preparing for an inspection and he came over to help. I was in panic mode and he said in his calm voice and Jamaican accent: "It'll be okay man. We just go down the list and fix the stuff, one by one." He was right. It was okay. We did the list one thing at a time. We passed. After that, he was a close ally in my career development and was always calm in the storm. I will truly miss my friend. 

It was my great pleasure to be a colleague of Mr. Carlton Brown at Humphrey Management in Maryland.  He was a man of great talent and humility.  We will always remember his thoughtfulness and consideration for his fellow Team Members and especially for the residents at the communities he served.

We offer our sincere condolences to his loving family who he spoke so highly of.  Carlton was sure to share a photo of his grandchildren whenever we saw him.  He was so very proud of his family.  We thank  you for sharing him with us.   May your happy memories of Carlton give you comfort.  



Condolences to the Brown family.  It was my pleasure to work with Carlton at Humphrey Management.  He was so kind and always made me laugh.  He always walked with me at our Breast Cancer Walk.  I have a lot of great memories of Carlton and he will truly be missed.
