Carmelita Rosa Robinson was born on January 11, 1943 in Brazil. She was one of six children.
She came to the United States in the 1970’s, where she met her husband of 26 years Kenneth Charles Robinson in New York City. She lived in New York until the year 2001, when she embarked on a new journey, moving to Georgia to be closer to her daughter. Carmelita was a proud and dedicated worker, loved by all of her previous employers. She retired in 2008, and spent the rest of her time enjoying her friends in fellowship at the Bethlehem Senior Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Carmelita cherished and loved her family and friends. She had a loving and nurturing spirt that was felt by all that came in contact with her.
Carmelita departed this life on November 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her Husband Kenneth Charles Robinson.
Carmelita leaves to cherish her memory; her daughter, Diana Davis, Grandson, Lanier Jermaine Davis Jr., and Son-in-law Lanier Jermaine Davis Sr. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, Godchildren, and friends.
