Charles “Chip” Morris Williams, Jr. passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on November 8, 1950, Chip lived a life defined by laughter, loyalty, hard work, and unwavering love for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his sons, Brian and Chipper; his daughter, Tara; and his grandchildren, Bailey, Chipper and Rachel; his sister, Debbie Wilson; his brother, Richard Williams; uncle Ted James and his aunt, Nancy James. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertie Powell; his father, Charles Morris Williams, Sr.; his brother Bob Murphy; and his son, Preston.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Chip brought laughter wherever he went. His warmth, humor, and stubborn spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A passionate sports fan, Chip was a lifelong supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Mr. Williams proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged after serving during the Viet Nam War. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, finding peace and joy in nature and the simple moments that meant the most to him.
Chip leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
