Edith Cross

Everyone who knew Mother knew that she was the closest thing to an angel to walk this earth. She lived her entire life devoted to serving God by showing kindness and compassion to all she met.

Mother leaves behind an enormous circle of family and friends who adored her and are grateful to have been blessed with her presence in their lives. In memory of a life so beautifully lived please wear red for her and do one random act of kindness today and tomorrow.

Mrs. Cross was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Golden Hubert Cross, Jr.,and is survived by her daughter, Nealia Carey; daughter & son-in-law, Ann & Harris Wilbanks; son, Golden Hubert Cross, III, son & daughter-in-law, Bobby N. & Sandra Cross; grandsons; Jeffrey Eidson, Zachary Brackett & wife, Sonja, Matthew Cross & wife, Natalie; granddaughters, Bartley Cross-McGlamory & husband, Joey, and Brittney Cross; step grandchildren, Jennifer Wilbanks, Matthew Wilbanks & wife, Heather; great grandchildren, Emily Cross, Jordan Brackett, Layla Cross, Colton & Cooper Wilbanks.

A Celebraton of Life Service for Edith Cross will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 5th in Eternal Hills Chapel with Dr. Tom Smiley officiating. Interment, Eternal Hills Memory Gardens with the committal service officiated by Dr. Jody Hice. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Lakewood Baptist Church, Sharing the Vision, 2235 Thompson Bridge Rd., Gainesville, GA 30501 or to Making Room For More at The Summit Church, 3080 Hwy 81 S, Loganville, GA 30052. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, December 4th, 5 to 8 pm in Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, 770-972-3155.
