Helen "Fran" Barry

Helen Frances ”Fran” Keehan Barry, 74, of Lilburn, GA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 19, 2015 with her loving family by her side. She was born August 29, 1940 in Dallas, Texas, to Helen and Thomas Keehan. Fran joins her parents and son Richard Alan Barry in heaven.

Fran leaves behind the love of her life of 52 years, her husband, Richard William “Dick” Barry and her devoted daughter Helen Katherine Barry of Lilburn, GA; her sisters: Jean Gustafson and Virginia Felts of Rockwall, Texas; her stepsister: Pat Mamontov of Chicago, IL and her stepbrother Mike McGrath of Spokane, WA. She leaves behind her precious grandchildren: Steven Martinelli, Drew Hardin, Jared Hardin and Hannah Hardin all of Lawrenceville, GA. She also leaves behind numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Fran enjoyed card games, cooking, needle point and socializing with friends, family and neighbors. The world has lost an amazing wife, mother, surrogate mother, grandmother, friend, sister, family member, neighbor and cook. The family finds peace that knowing she will be among the stars gazing down from heaven on us. Now her legacy lies within her grandchildren, which she adores so much and is very proud of them and their accomplishments.

The visitation will be from 7:00pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, March 23, 2015 and a memorial service to follow at 8:00 pm until 9:00pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home on 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039.
