Leonard George Lawrence, of Snellville, Georgia, returned home on July 17th, 2025 at the age of 83 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in St. Mary, Jamaica, West Indies to Ebenezer Lawrence and Theresa Maud O’Meally, Leonard built a long and respected career in international banking after immigrating to New York in 1970. He earned his Business degree from Pace University and was known for his quiet strength, observant nature, sense of duty and love of family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Viveen; children Duane, Andrew, and Monique; son-in-law Carlton; and grandson Michael; in addition to many dear siblings and extended family and friends.
