Linda Carrington passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020, at the age of 80 after a long illness. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ray Carrington. She lived her life for her family, always putting their needs above her own. She devoted her life to Christ and was active in her church until her illness.
She is survived by her children Cindy Carrington of Commerce, GA, Teresa (Mike) Whitley of Lawrenceville, GA, Lori (Russ) Patterson of Pendelton, SC, John (Christina) Carrington of Loganville, GA, Alan (Christy) Carrington of St. Mary's, GA. She has 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Sandra (Benny) Garner of Franklin, TN and her brother Lewis K. Garrison of Collierville, TN and numerous Nieces and nephews.
Due to the current protocols enacted by the CDC in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic a private graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2020. A celebration of life service will be planned at a later date and time.
