Mariam F. Oden age 84 of Stone Mountain passed away January 31, 2014. She loved to cook and her favorite times of the year were Thanksgiving and Christmas; those times were spent well with her contented, loving family. She is survived by her loving husband, Willie (they met on a blind date); daughter, Lynn Sirard, Gainesville; son, Gary Oden, Stone Mountain; brother, Toney Carr, Independence, Kansas; grandchildren, Amanda Oden, Lindsay Oden, Jason Sirard, and Austin Sirard; and great granddaughter, "Her Sweet Girl", Kayla Vereen. Tributes in Mariam's memory may be placed at www.mem.com. The Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Eternal Hills Chapel with Rev. John Baker officiating.
