

Mildred was born March 30, 1919, in Birmingham, AL, to Justina Hurd Cull and Earl Cornelius Cull. She was married for 59 years to the love of her life and childhood sweetheart, Wylie Hanby Roberts. In Birmingham, Mimi was an active member of Shades Valley Presbyterian Church, served as President of the local Toastmistress Club, and volunteered with the Girls Club of America. For the past 30 years, Mimi lived in Lilburn, GA. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Snellville and enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, art, and keeping her yard pristine. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Earl Cornelius Cull, Jr. and a son, Wylie Hanby Roberts, Jr.
She is survived by Daughter, Carol Lee Roberts Strain, Daughter-in-law ,Praxie Roberts of Holland; Grandson Wylie Hanby Roberts, III (Elena)of Decatur; Jeffrey David Strain (Julie) of Ft. Worth, TX; Granddaughter Rebecca Lee Strain Cooper (Shawn) of Dunwoody, GA; Grandson Richard Gordon Roberts (Ester) of Holland; Granddaughter Michelle Marie Roberts of Holland; and 9 great grandchildren, Dylan, Andrew, Nicholas, Georgia Anne, Sarah, Zoe, Avi, Destiny, and Daelyn.
She is also survived by nieces Kathryn Spring and Vicki Roberts-Moore of Richmond, VA; nephews Mike Cull (Diane) of Nashville, TN; Joseph Cull (Mary) of Victorville, CA; and Ted Cull (Mary Frances) of Birmingham, AL.
Mimi's family would also like to thank all the wonderful caretakers at Atria of Tucker for taking such good care of her over the past ten years.
The funeral service will be held at Eternal Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, May 12. Viewing is at 3pm and service follows from 4-5pm. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL on Friday, May 13 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Friends of Disabled Adults and Children, 4900 Lewis Rd., Stone Mountain, GA 30083.
