Norma Cornell was born to Levi and Inez Harris in Riverdale, St. Catherine, Jamaica, WI on December 30, 1938. She immigrated to the United States in 1965 where she met and fell in love with Eduardo and they were married on May 20, 1966. She worked as a telephone operator for St. John's Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. But after a few years, she decided to continue her education and became a certified nurse's assistant. Norma worked at Sun Harbor and Grace Plaza Nursing Home in Long Island, NY, where she was considered one of the most loving and caring people. She was loved by all who encountered her presence. She was a very strong person. She found joy in Gardening, shopping and cooking healthy foods, until she became ill in September 2011. Norma fought hard to stay with us, but God said differently. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Eduardo, son Eddie Jr., two sisters Elaine (Ms. Joy) and Gloria (G) and a host of nieces and nephews,
