Surrounded by her loving family, Shirley passed away after a prolonged battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Despite her humble beginnings, Shirley retired from AT&T after a 27 year career and was a multi-year, million dollar award-winning realtor/broker. Always a caring heart, she was the only female volunteer in the Southeast to participate in advanced stem-cell surgical research at Emory University (sponsored by the Michael J. Fox Foundation) and always pushed the boundaries of her condition. During her lifetime she enjoyed many hobbies, such as RV camping, sewing, and metal detecting while vacationing on the beach. She will be loved and missed by her surviving family members, Ralph M. Nesbit, husband; Sandy (Kenneth) Talioferro, sister; Jill (Joseph) Langley, daughter; Ryan M. Nesbit, son; Tony (Arika) Park, grandson; Paige (Corbin) Streck, granddaughter; Sarah (Jon) Munevar, granddaughter; Ryan M. Nesbit, Jr., grandson; Amelia Streck, great-granddaughter; Jonah Streck, great-grandson,.
