Stephen Byron Lloyd

Stephen B. Lloyd from Loganville passed away peacefully on March, 8, 2017. Our family lost their Hero that day! Stephen proudly served his country in the US Army and later as a fireman for the City of San Diego for 20yrs. He then went on to become the head grounds keeper at Mt. Miguel high school where he would eventually retire after 20 years! Stephen was preceded in death by his great grandson Blake Richard Lloyd, his son in law Benny Reed and the love of his life of 62 1/2 years his beautiful wife Arlene. Surviving is his daughter Debra Reed, his son and daughter in law Thomas and Christina Lloyd, grandchildren Kymberlie Lloyd and Richard Lloyd. Great grandchildren, Kaylee Lloyd, Christian Lloyd, Angalena Lloyd, Spencer Strunk, Tanner Lloyd, Sadie Lloyd, and Maverick Lloyd. Stephen's Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Traylor officiating. Burial will take place at 1:00 pm at The Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made at your local fire station in Stephen's memory. Visitation with the family will be held thirty minutes prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. -10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning outside the funeral home chapel.
