Teresa Diane Wade

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Ruby Hewatt, sister Sandy Drummond and brother Mike Hewatt. Teresa is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bobby Wade, brother Rooster Spain, children Lee and Kelley Wade of Monroe, GA, Renee’ Wade of Jefferson, GA, Brittany and James Tigue of Suwanee, GA, Ryan and Candice Wade of Jefferson, GA and Rusty Wade of Buford, GA. Grandchildren, Amber Wade and Chandler Scott, Ashley Tigue, Kelsey and Colton Farris, Courtney Tigue, Aubree Wade, Josh Tigue, Savannah Domer, Raylan Wade, and Alex Tigue, and several nephews and nieces.

Teresa was a loving mother, nana, and friend. She loved more than anything spending time with her family, especially at the beach. She loved quilting with her quilting ladies, she also loved to visit casinos with Bobby, every chance they had. Teresa was a bus driver for Gwinnett County Schools for 27 years. Teresa and Bobby, were high school sweethearts, married for 54 years. Teresa was loved by anyone who knew her, and she never met a stranger, and she was the light that lit up any room she walked into. We will always treasure the memories we have; she will forever live in our hearts.

The funeral service to celebrate the life of Teresa Wade will be held on October 14, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday October 13, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00.
