

Virginia Mae Weiss, 73, of Snellville, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015, in Snellville. Virginia was born on July 31, 1941 in Rochelle, IL to Leonard and Vivian Johnson. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed travel, always stopping at the Grand Ole Opry while in Nashville, reading, crossword and word find puzzles and especially the Chicago Cubs. Mrs. Weiss was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Shirley Johnson and Marsha Swinson and brothers Bob Johnson and Stan Johnson. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Stanley Weiss, of Snellville, children Diane Smith and husband Kevin of Woodstock, GA, Sandra Porter and husband Steve of Grayson, GA, Laura Dearth and husband Steve of Raleigh, NC, David Weiss and wife Michelle of St. Louis, MO, Wendy Weiss of Stone Mountain, GA and Michael Weiss of Lilburn, GA, sisters Charlotte Potter, Judy Serns and Linda Johnson, brothers Gerry Johnson and Wallace Johnson and grandchildren Rachel Smith, Sarah Smith, Amelia Porter, Ethan Porter, Thomas Dearth, Emily Dearth, Elijah Weiss, Caleb Weiss, Isaiah Weiss, Daniel Weiss and Ashley Weiss. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12:00pm on Thursday, July 23, 2015, in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Weiss officiating. Entombment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
